If you remember my older entries, you’ll recall that I introduced a number of key poker tools that can help you improve your game on money poker sites. I mentioned that you should take advantage of a hand converter, always adhere to bankroll management, and try to keep a poker odds table at your desk. I also explained that it’s useful to find some free poker videos because they’re an effective way to learn the game, plus they are free poker training –  nothing comes out of your pocket. If you’ve already gone and downloaded every free video that you can find, though, you might be wondering what’s next. Most players will have earned a couple bucks at the tables by now, and the next step is to invest some of this profit on some more advanced videos. To help you out, I’m going to start a series that will give reviews on some of the poker training sites that you can subscribe to if you’re eager for some new videos.

I’m choosing to start with GrinderSchool because it targets beginner players. For as little as $10/month, you are allowed access to over 600 online poker videos made by people that have the results to show they beat the competition in US poker sites. They feature seven videos every week, and while the bulk of them feature No Limit Hold Em, around 4 each month have strategy for different games.

GrinderSchool offers a lot for those that play No Limit Hold Em cash games on sites such as Tiger Gaming. They feature several short-handed and full ring poker videos, and new players will have no trouble finding a few videos at their chosen low buy-in. There’s less selection when it comes to Limit or Heads-up play, however. The site features a few heads-up and Limit videos, but it might not be sufficient for those that specialize in these types of games. Unfortunately, the same thing applies to people that need videos for Omaha or other less popular poker types like Stud.

Have you tried Rush Poker tournaments on your Fulltiltpoker download yet? Even if you don’t like cash games, GrinderSchool can still help you out. Tournament players will also find a large variety of videos and most of them are by some really excellent players. The videos feature buy-ins that start as low as $2 and go all the way up to $55, and almost all of the videos participate in a 3 to 9 part series. Those that have been itching to get into a huge buy-in tournament also have the option to view satellite videos.

If you find MTT events frustrating and prefer Sit-N-Go’s on a PokerStars download, you’ll find some quality advice on GrinderSchool. You’ll find that a large percentage of the SNG videos were made by the site’s owner, but recently joining the team were a couple new high quality instructors. These videos feature stakes between $1 and $33, and the concepts discussed range from beginner to advanced levels.

I give a big thumbs up to GrinderSchool as a site for inexperienced players dipping their toes into the action on the best US poker sites. We’ve already seen how low the monthly cost is, and with no sign up fee, it’s almost a no-brainer! It’s true that it’s not the best site for those that prefer the less popular types of poker, but No Limit Hold Em players will be very happy with their investment when they see the video selection at this training site.

We take a minute to know someone, one hour to like someone, and one day to love someone, but the whole life to forget someone
